Founder story

Where IBO CLEAR began.

IBO CLEAR grew from firsthand experience helping people navigate the complicated process of researching an ibogaine program in Mexico. After supporting approximately 15 people with preparation and travel logistics, Tyson recognized how difficult it was for individuals and families to compare programs, understand the process, and coordinate the journey. IBO CLEAR was created to provide a more organized, transparent, and supportive path.

Our mission

Help people make informed decisions — and travel well.

We organize information, coordinate logistics, and stay beside travelers and families through the process, while leaving every medical decision to the independent facility's licensed clinicians.

What makes our model different

  • Independence — facilities are independently operated; we don't own or run any of them.
  • Transparency — every listing uses the same criteria and shows its credential status.
  • Separate payments — medical program fees are paid directly to the facility, and any compensation we receive from a facility is disclosed to you in writing, including the amount, before you pay anything.
  • No medical decisions — we never screen, diagnose, or determine eligibility.
